How booking works
Three steps to your first day

Choose a course and a date
Pick the qualification, the centre that suits you and a start date. Not sure which course? Call us and we will tell you.
- 02
Pay online to hold your place
Most courses need a deposit of £30 to £300, and you pay the balance at the centre on day one. The Emergency First Aid course is paid in full when you book.
- 03
Bring your ID and get qualified
Bring photo ID, plus two recent proofs of address for an SIA licence course. Attend every session and take your exams at the centre.

We run SIA licence courses with training centres across London, Manchester and Liverpool, supplying trainers and looking after the whole process. You choose the centre and the date, pay a deposit online and the rest at the centre.

We are a booking platform. The courses are taught and assessed face to face at our partner centres by their qualified trainers.
Certificates in two to three weeks
Pass, and your results and certificates normally follow within two to three weeks of the course.

Most courses run at our centres in East London, close to the Central, Jubilee, District and Elizabeth lines. There are more in Park Royal, Harrow, South East and South West London, and in Manchester and Liverpool.

Door Supervisors and Security Guards need a refresher to renew
Refresher training has been compulsory since April 2025. Book it before your licence expires so there is no gap in your work. Our guide to what happens when an SIA licence expires explains the timing, and the licence checker shows your expiry date.

How do I book a course?
Pick a course, a centre and a start date. Most courses need a deposit of £30 to £300, and you pay the balance at the centre on day one. The Emergency First Aid course is paid in full when you book. You get a confirmation email with the joining instructions.
Do I need any experience to book an SIA course?
No. You need to be 18 or over with the right to work in the UK. The course teaches everything the SIA exams cover, and you take the exams at the centre.
What should I bring on day one?
Your passport or driving licence, two proofs of address from the last three months and three passport photos. The joining instructions page lists everything.
My SIA licence is due for renewal. Which course do I need?
Door Supervisors and Security Guards must complete refresher training before they renew. Door Supervisors take the two-day refresher and Security Guards the one-day refresher, both with Emergency First Aid included on most dates.
Does the course fee include the SIA licence fee?
No. The licence application fee is paid to the SIA when you apply, after you pass the course.
